Registration and application problems. Having problems with registering or applying? Seeing an error message? Any questions? Take a look at the CV registration checklist: This is a copy of the application sent to the employer for your records. No further action is required on your part. CV conversion instructions The most common problem encountered when registering or applying is the CV being in the wrong format to upload. Please ensure your CV (Resume) is saved as RTF (Rich Text) or TXT (plain text). To convert your CV to the correct format please follow the instructions below: 1. Open your CV in Microsoft Word (or the software program with which you created your CV). 2. If you have any images such as photos, clipart scans of licences etc in the file, please remove them. (Employers are aware that images cannot be sent through the site and will contact you after application if they are required. 3. At the top of the screen, select FILE, then SAVE AS 4. Below the box where the file name is typed there should be a drop-down box of file formats or types. Select RTF (or Rich Text Format) and press save. Remember where you save it. Rich Text Format files look almost identical to common Word format documents but do not carry viruses as easily. Remember, the RTF file may have the same icon as your original CV, make sure you select the correct file when you are uploading your CV to the site. Question not answered by the above?
