LOOKING FOR A JOB?

Please use our website to view and apply for the positions currently available. DO NOT EMAIL YOUR CV TO US. We only work as an advertising service so cannot help individuals with their search for a job or work placement. Questions regarding any of the jobs or applications should be directed to the companies advertising the relevant positions. Please note we are also unable to advise on qualifications or your suitability for jobs.

For information on work permits, please click here (we are unable to help with obtaining the necessary documents). Please do not apply for jobs if you do not already have the required work permits (unless it is specifically stated that these are not required.)

Changed your email address?
To change the email address in your CV account please log in here. Unfortunately it is not possible to alter existing job alert subscriptions, please remove your old address from the system by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of job alert then click here to re-register.

Want to change your job alert settings?
Please use the new registration form, this will overwrite your existing settings. Please be aware that this is an automatic service and we cannot tailor the search to your specific needs other than the selections that are on the form, we will however be able to offer a regional service soon.

Problems with job alert links?
If the links in your job alert do not work or bring up a message saying "the job is no longer on the system" please try using the search box to locate the position. If this is unsuccessful then unfortunately it is likely the job has been removed from the site.

Want to check the status of your application?
Aviationjobsearch.com only work as an advertising service so do not deal with the applications and cannot advise on their status. If the application you submitted was sent using the Aviationjobsearch.com registration system you should have received a copy of the application email, this will have the employer's email address in the "to" field, please contact them directly to ask any questions. (Please be aware that shortlisting candidates can take time, we recommend allowing 2 weeks, note that not all employers contact unsuccessful applicants, if you cannot locate the email please remember to check your junk mail folder).

Registration and application problems.

Having problems with registering or applying?
Seeing an error message?
Any questions?

Take a look at the CV registration checklist:

  • Is your CV in correct format? - Only RTF and TXT files are accepted. (see below for conversion instructions)
  • Is your CV below 250kb in size? - Remove photos, clipart and other images.
  • Are there any unusual characters in filename? - Accented letters or symbols in the filename can cause problems, please remove these (once uploaded the filename is changed to your registration number anyway).
  • Seeing the "Email address not recognised" message? - Please be aware that the email job alert service operates separately to CV registration, please register your CV to apply. Please check your email address is spelt correctly and has the correct domain extension (.com / .co.uk etc)
  • Have you forgotten your password? - Please use the "password forgotten" link below the login box
  • You don't have a CV? - Sorry, you must have a CV to register and apply, applications will not be accepted without a CV (unless specifically stated on the job ad)
  • Are you being blocked from applying?
  • - Employers may choose to block applications from people who do not have the relevant work rights, please ensure that you answer the EU work permission question on the CV registration form correctly (employers will not tolerate applicants who mislead them). Employers may also block applicants who do not live in Europe / The UK though this is intended for extreme security reasons only, if you feel you have been blocked unfairly please contact us, include the job title, employers name and details of what happened and we will investigate. Please be aware that we cannot help with work permit applications.
  • Application sent back to you?
This is a copy of the application sent to the employer for your records. No further action is required on your part.
  • Problems registering on an external site? - Some employers use their own websites to collect applications, we are unable to offer help or advice on using these. Please contact the employer directly for assistance.

    CV conversion instructions
The most common problem encountered when registering or applying is the CV being in the wrong format to upload. Please ensure your CV (Resume) is saved as RTF (Rich Text) or TXT (plain text).
To convert your CV to the correct format please follow the instructions below:

    1. Open your CV in Microsoft Word (or the software program with which you created your CV).
    2. If you have any images such as photos, clipart scans of licences etc in the file, please remove them. (Employers are aware that images cannot be sent through the site and will contact you after application if they are required.
    3. At the top of the screen, select FILE, then SAVE AS
    4. Below the box where the file name is typed there should be a drop-down box of file formats or types. Select RTF (or Rich Text Format) and press save. Remember where you save it.

Rich Text Format files look almost identical to common Word format documents but do not carry viruses as easily. Remember, the RTF file may have the same icon as your original CV, make sure you select the correct file when you are uploading your CV to the site.
