Good health is vital in coping with these conditions and our crews need to maintain a high level of personal fitness and health throughout their flying career.
Flying definitely comes with a unique lifestyle - sign on times and working hours are very different from the normal nine-to-five, five days a week role. Flight attendants will often work through weekends and holidays and can be away from home for long periods of time.
If you're accepted as a flight attendant you will undertake a comprehensive training program that will cover a variety of topics including customer service, medical aviation, aircraft and personal safety, emergency procedures.
